A Bright Beginning to a Year of Exploration and Achievement"
"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." — William Butler Yeats

Education should inspire curiosity and a lifelong passion for learning, rather than just the accumulation of facts. At IQRA Primary School, this philosophy is applied by focusing on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging, hands-on activities. These methods aim to foster a generation of learners who are not only knowledgeable but also capable of applying their knowledge creatively in real-world situations. The goal is to ignite a passion for learning in students that fuels their personal and educational growth far beyond the classroom.

At IQRA Primary department, recess is more than a break—it's a vibrant exchange of ideas and laughter, an opportunity to build friendships and learn from each other. This snapshot from our playground captures our students engaging with peers, embodying the spirit of community and collaboration that we foster beyond the classroom walls. It's these moments of connection that help shape the well-rounded, socially adept individuals we are proud to educate.

Ready to kick off the action, this photo captures the moment just before a student at the Primary makes a play. With a soccer ball at their feet and determination in their step, it’s clear that sports are more than just games here; they are a vital part of our students' education, teaching teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. Set against a backdrop of wood chips, this scene is not just about playing—it's about learning to aim higher, push further, and strive for your goals in all walks of life.

Club Session 5G , Week 2
We were absolutely stoked to have Sr Rehana Usman from Studio Rags with us to lead the incursion in 5G which was Pakistani Truck Art Painting. Sr Rehana had the 5G girls all inspired and excited showcasing her truck art paintings on a cricket bat, food tray and even a clock! Plywood boards were utilised and primed with gesso a week prior to the incursion to set the base for artwork. Sr Rehana had beautiful designs which students traced with a pencil on the board using carbon paper. They traced the outline and creatively added all the intricate designs using colourful acrylic markers. We will continue to add details and have the final artwork ready for parents to view in Week 4 In Shaa Allah . Students were immersed in this creative process and learned to problem solve as artists when faced with technical challenges in tracing and adding details of their own choice. What a fabulous session!
